One of the most helpful things I've learned through ministry (+ just relationships like marriage and close friendships) is to ask permission before sharing advice or suggestions. Sometimes a person isn't ready to receive insight or a word you might have and that is okay.

Similarly, in healing prayer it's really important to let the person you're serving lead the conversation and to regularly check in with them. Ask them if they are ready or willing to tackle a particular area — and encourage them to seek that answer through the Holy Spirit.

“Let the person you’re serving lead the conversation” is GOLD! Even Jesus asked questions despite already knowing all truth. That tells us so much about the method we should take in revealing mysteries of Gods kingdom.
