Where emotional safety meets biblical soundness—Trauma-Informed Spiritual Intervention® equips you to heal, lead, and serve with clarity and compassion.

For Leah Cullum, Associate Vice President of Programs and Field Operations, integrating Trauma-Informed Spiritual Intervention® into her professional life has been a gradual but meaningful journey. Even the smallest shifts, she says, have helped her work become more impactful—especially when coaching leaders who are trying to hold onto their personal beliefs while supporting diverse teams.
Since completing the course, Leah has been able to create space for honest, compassionate conversations in environments that often shy away from the complexity of belief and identity. “It’s been great to see leaders grow in their ability to lead with both compassion and understanding,” she shares. “It’s progress—even if it’s gradual.” For her, that progress begins when people are invited to see themselves in someone else’s seat. When we understand our own stories and beliefs, we become better equipped to see others through that same human lens.
Leah has also found the confidence to speak boldly about trauma-informed care in both professional and faith-based spaces. Whether she’s in a boardroom or a church meeting, she now feels equipped to explain why emotional safety and spiritual awareness are not optional—they’re essential. The language and tools she gained have given her clarity and courage, allowing her to advocate for healing-centered leadership wherever she goes.
When it came time to bring this work into her organization, Leah led with a simple but powerful truth: we’re all just one step away from those we serve. That message resonated. “If we say we’re here to serve the whole person,” she explained, “then we have to understand the experiences and beliefs people carry.” That pitch helped open the door for trauma-informed care to become a value-aligned priority.
Leah’s journey shows what’s possible when faith, leadership, and healing are integrated with intention. She’s not just using her skills—she’s modeling what it looks like to lead with both conviction and compassion.
